So the transmission went out on my 200. Instead of being normal and just rebuilding it, I decided to redo almost all of it. The axles went from a dana 44/60 set to a dana 60/Eaton H072. Disc brakes all the way around. New Chevy leaf springs all the way around. The transmission got rebuilt, the engine got resealed and cleaned up. Oh yeah and fuel injected. Of course I needed some new tires due to the springs. So it changed the look just a bit. Oops. Before After
Forgot about the Chevy power steering box and crossover steering. New master cylinder, oh and suburban gas tank. I think that might be it. Nope also a goosenck hitch for some fun.
So I've already gotten complaints that theres no after pic even though I see one. So I'll try this again.
Still need to clean up the wiring, but it's coming along nicely. So now if it would just warm up so I can work on it.
Whats the booster and master cylinder out of,did it bolt to the bracket?Wondering as it looks the same as was in my 75 travelette.
The booster is stock, the master cylinder is 86 Chevy. The master cylinder on mine was much smaller than this one. My fingers were faster than my brain, so I corrected my post.
thats the same MC i got a few years ago for a SS SII from O'reilly's, when i got a new re-manned booster mc combo.
75 had a small and a larger(heavy duty) mastercylinder, the larger has a different booster with a different bolt pattern.Did the rod from your stock powerbooster work with the new chevy master. Thanks Jeff
Been using to plow. So far it's working pretty good. Some small stuff to still work out. But I'm pretty happy with it.
Yeah I have a few kicking around. Still need to get out in the cold and calibrate the stock fuel guage to the suburban gas tank. But she starts right up and plows great.
