I just got this 1972 1110. It has a 345 four-barrel automatic. The front is a dana 44 and a 60 rear.As you can see by the pictures it needs a little work.I'm hoping to get it done in enough time to take it to Carlise.

Got it running today. I got to drive around the alley for alittle. I ordered the floors and rocker pannels from Brendan Barnes so they should be coming soon. I think I might change the fuel pump since it was sitting for 2 years. The plugs and wires are all good. I still hope to get it all together for Carlisle.

Did you buy the floor kits from SSS? Just curious how well they fit as it appears I am going to need them as well.

The truck is looking good!

I bought the kit from Barnes IH. I am sure he got the kit from SSS. It did take some cutting to get it to fit. They give you a lot of metal so it depends on how much you will need. But after we got it cut it fit very good. Hope this helps.

This truck is currently in my shop for the radiator replacement and a total going over before it goes to Carlisle. The radiator is the least of Dave's worries as of right now. The truck needs roadworthy brakes. The steel and rubber lines were a ticking timebomb, master cylinder was nearly dry from weeping lines. I'm hitting a stumbling block with the rear brake shoes currently. The truck is an 1110, but has 8 lug wheels all the way around. Dana 44 front and 60 rear. Rear shoes are 11" x 2 1/2". I know they're out there, but everything I've pulled already from my parts stock and Rock Auto is not matching up. The size would match, but holes for springs etc do not. Or the holes match up and the shoes are 3" (too wide).

Anyone else have an 1110 with and 8 lug set up. All of my 1110 parts trucks/travelalls are 5 lug???

Yes it is a full floater. Has IH drums, part number 376435C1 cast into drum but its really hard to read. That number comes up as for 1200 1210 and 200 series trucks. And they are without a doubt 11 inch brakes, which fit the drum correctly. I may have to put the used shoes back on for the Carlisle trip. I was able to get new wheel cylinders, spring kits, hoses etc.
