I just acquired a Spirit of '76 Cadet lawn tractor. I had no idea it was a fairly rare, collectable item and was intending to use it to mow my rock patch in the central Oregon desert. I guess I won't be doing that now. Here's a link to the whole story in the IHSTO forum. http://www.binderplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56032
Holy smokes --- I've dreamt of making a find like that! Congratulations, can't wait to see it in person. (It'll be a lot easier to haul than a W9, ta boot.) Brad
Yeah, but it just doesn't have the . . . . . . . . . machismo of a W9. But it WAS a bargain. As for being a great find, it don't hold a candle to a FREE F-20. I'll trade ya. Is it a deal????
Jim I just thought I would let you know about this manual. It says 76 and just cadet not cub cadet so who knows if it is the same as yours. Just thought I would let you know.
Thanks John, but the Spirit Cadet had it's own dedicated manual, and I got the original with the tractor. Hard to believe that after 30 years the manual was still with it.
