Does a Ford Holley 1904 same as a Scout 152 carb. I see the Ford 1904 priced a lot cheaper than a Scout carb. I have a '64 Scout that I would like to get running but haven't been able to find a carb I can afford. Saw this listed on ebay: THIS LISTING IS COMPRISED OF 1 EA. HOLLEY CARBURETOR STAMPED NO. 6R 931B, 1904 OLD PARTS BIN CLEAN OUT FIND, CONDITION UNKNOWN, FOR PARTS OR REBUILD, USED AND COSMETIC IMPERFECTIONS. APPLICATIONS INCLUDE 1955 FORD 6..... Just wornder if this would work? Thanks Joe

The one I tried off a 61 Ford had a different mounting bolt spacing. I took the base off the Scout carb and put in on the Ford carb, but I never could get it to run decent, never was quite sure why.

I have a 1904 off of a 61 Scout 80 but it would need a rebuild, been sitting on a shelf for 3-4 years. You can pm me if you're interested.
