Hello everyone,

Just a post to let you all know our exclusive BCB "No Leak" Gas Cap adapter is back in stock and ready for immediate shipping.

This product replaces the stock gas cap adapter on your Scout 80, Scout 800, and C-series pickups. It combined with a newer style cap allows you to fill your tank full and not worry about gas running down your nice paint job, onto the trail, or in under the tire causing an accident. It seals way better that the original flimsy thin sheet metal one and allows you to clamp the gas fill tube to the body much tighter eliminating the leaks between the screws.

We also have updated these over the original (and copied by a few greedy competitors) ones. These are a much lower profile and dont stick out as much as the originals. We shaved about a 1/4" off the original designed one so the cap sits much closer to the body. In addition this year we released a Chrome flush mount cap that looks like the original for that period correct look. In addition we removed the bcb logo so our competitors would feel better about carrying such an awesome product but instead of being happy with that they got greedy and copied them so they could make a few dollars more.

NO LEAK ADAPTER KIT FOR SALE HERE
Here are some pictures to show off the product.
These will be available for $39.95 each. For Polished adapters add $15 each. We also have the correct caps available for $9-$24.95 depending on if it’s a single non locking cap, up to a pair of locking caps keyed alike.

In the following pictures it shows the new version polished and non polished,a few 2 pics of the stock one and what happens when you have a full tank and turn a corner or articulate, and a shot of the new chrome cap we offer.

This is Jamie from Just Internationals Scout 80 showing what happens when you do not have these and fill your tanks. Driving around or offroading sloshes the gas up the fill neck and then it leaks out all over your paint, the ground, water, etc.

One story I heard from Phil Coonrod was a guy had this happen and the gas went under his rear tire as he was turning hard causing him to loose grip and he flipped his scout because of it.

Very Nice!!

So, to see if my math is straight; for a pair of adapters PLUS a pair of locking caps, I'd be looking at $104.85? Plus shipping to 97355?

The total for two adapters in non polished form, plus a pair of the locking keyed alike caps will be $114.90 plus S&H. Call to order until i get them listed on the web store. I am working on some new photos and wording for the store this week.

Yes, i just have been super busy over this spring/summer season. It will be up on the web site very soon, but you can just call us to order. We now have included all the mounting hardware in Stainless for no extra cost. We also have the fill necks to accompany the filler adapters. Talk with ya soon.

As a follow-up: I bought some adapters last Spring and put them on. I couldn't be happier with the fit and quality. I found that keyed caps are a bit tall for my liking, but a screw cap is definitely the way to go. Thanks John!!:D

In addition this year we will be releasing a Chrome flush mount cap that looks like the original for that period correct look.

Do you have a locking one of these available to fit your "No Leak" Gas Cap adapter?

Newest design in stock ready to ship.

Just a note that we have the new improved version of our famous No-Leak adapter stocked up and available. New lower profile, and last year we removed the BCB logo as a few of our competitors asked me to so they would buy them and carry them in their shop.

Side note: Well instead of these other vendors buying from me they have chosen to act like a Jeep company and just copy the competition out of greed so they could make a few bucks more. Its sad to see Scout vendors doing this as it was always a close knit community and we bought products from each other rather than copying them. Just because you have the ability to copy something doesn't mean you should. :thumbs down:

The D-series pickups have a steel fill tube that goes in a bit to where the rubber tube connects to. So they do not have a gasket flange to bolt them up.

Why can't you add a couple gaskets so we could use the better setup?? plenty of room?
