To read codes ,Turn key on but do not start engine, press engine diag. button ,After several seconds oil/water light will flash once, then the warn engine light will flash a series of flashes seperated by pauses for instance 1 flash pause 2 flashes pause 3 flashes would be code 123 if there is more than one active code the oil/water light will flash once between codes .After active codes are displayed oil/water light will flash twice then inactive codes will be displayed ,after all codes are read oil/water light will flash 3 times.
active codes cannot be cleared until the faulty condition is corrected. To clear inactive codes, Press engine diag. button and hold down, turn key on but do not start, depress accelerator pedal all the way to the floor 3 times ,turn key off ,release engine diag. button ,wait 20 or 30 seconds to allow ECM time to clear codes.

is there a certain code you are looking for? I am not familiar with the display that shows the codes . but it would not surprise me if the codes are the same . from 99 to 05 I was shop foreman/Mechanic for a company that had a fleet of international trucks ,most had DT466e engines .

I'd have to pull the codes to get any numbers. There's 3 trucks at work with 2 "soft" codes each(no check eng. light). I remember it's real easy to get them too. With the key on/engine off, press Cruise power on, and resume at the same time.

Got some for the newer ones that print the code on the dash display(2000-2006-ish)?
on the new trucks ,i.e 4300, with the dig. display you need to have the parking brake on, in park if automatic, then hit the cruse/on and resume buttons at the same time.

I am helping a friend on a 2000 International 4000 DT466e. It starts up just fine in 2 or 3 seconds, It idles at about 500 RPM, when you step on the accelerator the RPM's go up to about 1200, then drops back to an idle and stays there. At this point the pedal has on effect. Pulled the code #134 said APS/IVS-- APS singal and IVS disagree. I replaced the APS/IVS switch, things did not change. I measured the voltage, 5 volts was present. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I hate to state the obvious but when comes to electrical it can only be 3 things, sensor, wiring, or computer. You said u already replaced the sensors so now u need to check wiring find the pins on the computer harness that go to the sensors and test for resistance in the wires. Then make sure ur getting 5v and a good ground to both sensors. If the wires are good and the power is good and the ground is good and the sensors are new, then it has to be the computer. Good luck.
