parting out 78 scout . it has dana 44's (4:11 gears, lock rite in front mini spool in rear, front is chevy cut down with scout axles and outers. engine is locked up and transmission was slipping before i parked it. it's loaded headed for the scrap yard very soon. call or text me 1-two76-233-six974. i hate to scrap good parts but want it gone. i was asking $300 for the axles but will take trades( old motorcycles, riding lawnmowers anything really) i can send pics by text if you need them.

Is anyone interested in a new set of Alcan springs for a Scout 80/800? They are a custom 2" wide and are heavy duty 2.5 lift springs. They have not seen any trail or road miles, and were under the garaged truck for a year and a half or so while I was in law school. I wound up going spring over axle and needing to get a new set. I have a 75 Scout II I would like to sell. Looking for a set of Dana 44 axles or a rear Dana 44 4.10 rear in order to complete repairs. Purchased the scout without a front drive shaft only to find out that front and rear were mismatched. Other than that scout is in good shape and is operable in 2 wheel drive. Hard Top Interior Pannels and Duel Exauhst

I have the interior hard top pannels that I need to get rid of from a 1978 Scout II $75

I have a soft top that fits a Scout II. It is in very good shape. The only thing I can find wrong with it is the corner in the back is a little frayed along the binding bead. The PO told me he bought it new and sold me the truck after six months. Not sure if that's true but it's what I was told. It looks good though. So it may be. Not sure who makes it didn't see a name. Make me a reasonable offer.

Wanted: OEM Exhaust manifolds or used headers

The hooker headers on my Scout II (345) have just blow a set of extra holes in the tubes...she was always loud, smokey and smelly but the exhaust holes off the engine took her to a ridiculous level. So, I'm in need of either a set of headers or (ideally) a set of OEM manifolds (if possible with dowpipes to make a DIY swap easier). Anyone in the area happen to have a set? Believe it or not, Advance can still get brand new ones in a kit with the gaskets and bolts for $72, (You need two, of course) If you go in and ask for it though, the parts monkey won't find it in the computer, but if you give him the Dorman part number, 674-188, it will come up on the computer and say it fits your scout.

Or save all the hassles of dealing with the parts monkey, and order it on-line;
