If anyone has any items that they want to sell or trade amongst local IHers, here's a sticky thread to do just that. We'll try this and see how it goes, and make an assessment later as to if we need a separate "ODBA only" classified section in addition to the regular BP classifieds.

Sellers/swappers/giver-awayers, please list the following to make it straight forward for the browsers:

So...whatcha got?

I've got a pair of hubcaps for a S80 in my possesion. They are like the one in this picture:
attachment.php

They are not nearly 100%, but are better than this one. They are both rears or for a 2WD, without the hole in the center for the lock out hub.

It appears that one is NOS, but has been slid around on a shelf for 40 years. The point is banged in a LITTLE bit, and there are a bunch of fairly deep scratches on the center area. I don't imagine it could be properly restored without a lot of trouble.

The second one is used, but cleaned up very well. It's dented and scratched up slightly worse in the middle than the first one, and is also slightly bent in all the way across, like something was laid on top of it and squished it.

They'd be good for a matching spare, or for a driver Scout, I suppose. I'd like to think they'd be worth $20 for the pair. I will try to get pics on Monday, if anyone is interested.

Where do I begin? All the parts listed are either out of a 1972 Scout II or a 1977 Scout II. Both scouts had about 55,000 miles on them to give you an idea on wear.

Here's the list:

1 Brake Booster, Surface rust, worked great when pulled $10
1 Dana 20 Transfer Case, nothing wrong with it other than taking up room in my basement $10
1 Passenger side front fender in great shape! Small hole in bottom, but not nearly as bad as you normally see $20
1 Hood for a Scout II Appears to be rust free, small dent in front which I had to look for to see $20
1 304 V8, I ran it today, ran like a champ! Has 58,000 miles on it $100 you pull, $250 I pull.
1 Alternator. Worked fine when pulled $10
1 727 Automatic Ran great before parked in the fall $100 you pull. $150 I pull.
2 Uniroyal Laredo 235/75 R-15 tires mounted on Scout II rims, great tread, appears to be no dry rot. $20
2 Scout II rims $10
1 Dana 30 front axle, with hubs $50
1 Dana 44 rear axle complete $75
1 complete bench seat set. IN IMMACULATE condition. Front and rear bench, made from a vinyl/cloth material, sort of a bluish gray. No tears, bases in great shape no rust holes and I don't think any pitting, the drivers side front is starting to sag a little from being sat on. $100 for the set.

There will be a lot more. Looking for something mechanical? Let me know I probably have it. I priced all this to move, no reasonable offer will be refused. I can't have this all clogging up my backyard/basement.

Please e-mail me at mrsoundman813@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Pair of chrome Stan's headers. Were on my 392 for about a month but I could never get them to not turn cherry red and I wasn't comfortable running them like that. They are "blued" as a result and the right collector has been "clearanced" with a hammer to clear the starter.
$300

I need a Scout II hard top. The part over the front seat passengers is going to be cut off, so it doesn't matter much, but the rear part I'd like to have in reparable condition. It doesn't have to be nice-nice, but decent. I want to build a "topper" type thing for R/T out of it. From any distance it'll look like a regular hard top, but it will go behind my half cab.

Anybody got one they can do without?

Surprising find in local paper (Carroll County Times)

1955 INTERNATIONAL 3/4 ton state truck, 46,000 miles, no rust, new tires, carburetor, master cylinder, restoration started, $1600 443-250-3574

It's not mine and I am not interested in any more than crawling around inspecting/learning as the case may be.

Enjoy,
Erik

72' Scout II for parts or whatever

So, the hammer has fallen on my seven year run at being stationed in my home-town, and now I am on orders to relocate to Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC.
It is such a big job to decide what is dear enough to drag around to the new house and what isn't. Not a job I really wanted to do.

I have a 1972 Scout, straight six, auto, manual steering and brakes.
Body has the usual amount of binder-rash, but not as much as some. some work was done to patch it up many years ago. Also looks like someone tried to rebuild the motor, even has a new carb (at least it was new once).

I have not tried to start this one, as I only wanted it for parts.

I have taken the glove-box, the inside vents, the seats and bases, and the sun-visors.
Oh, and the back glass.

I have it listed on Clist for $150, but I just want $100, just enough to beat out the junk mans price.

Thanks! This Scout has a new home now!

Thanks for all the interest everybody, but the blue Scout has found a new home here locally. I had some calls about it within an hour or so of posting it on here!
I am just glad it will be used and not scrapped.
