No Vents?

I have just about stripped my scout 80 ready for a rotisserie. I still don't know what year it is because there is not dataplate. I do have the sliding windows though.

One thing I realised is I don't have those windscreen demister vents - I don't even have hole in my dash for them - where these aftermarket of an option does any know?

I don't know about the vents, but with sliding windows you have an early 61/62 scout. Have fun tinkering with your scout!

My 65, 64 and 63 have the vents from the factory.
There may be a serial number on the frame near the steering box.
Oops. You are in OZ. Try the other side....

I also run into a lot of problems finding out how old/new my truck is..it also hs the sliding windows........ The different stories from those who (should) know lead me to believe they are only 61/62 models I would LOVE to see your truck
