Wasn't that '79 SII just on CL a couple of months back? Came close on that one. If my '73 had sold sooner, it would possibly been gracing my driveway, ;)(jealous). Great catch and nice ride! :punk:

Enjoyed stopping by the meeting Saturday and getting the chance to meet a few people and see some of our beast's cousins. Here is a picture of the Little Beast. Our plans are to restore it to original as much as possible. We are already considering obtaining a donor. Hoping to have him on the road by spring!

Howdy,
I'm in Houston, just bought my first scout (79 SII, 345, 4 spd, 134k miles) in Denver, drove it home this weekend. She drove like a champ, A/C running once I got to Texas. Top has never been off, but I'll fix that. I stopped in Colorado to take the attached pic.

Thought I would post up here to show my up-to-date Scout II and the latest addition, a 1960 Travelall, 3/4 ton 4X4 B-120 Series that I have dubbed "Wilbur". :punk:

In Bryan this weekend. Got to drive my 80 at dads. No brakes, but who needs brakes in a big enough pasture. Got some work to do. Slave cylinder leaking on clutch and all brake seals gone. Can't wait tell she's my daily driver. Having trouble uploading pictures. Hope to have some soon.

finally figured out this upload process. here is a pic of my 1961 Scout 80 that was my gramps. Before he died he told me he did not want it to be a hot rod that got tore up. i plan to do a full restoration on it and go back with the original red. i want to put on a small lift and bigger tires. right now it has a set of mobil tires from the old moblil station they used to own. i will also put in a back seat so that i can haul my wife and girls and give them the memories i had growing up and riding in it. it has the original slant four in her that runs like a top. i have pulled the window frames out of it and rarely have the top on it. someday i want a bikini or full soft top. we restored my great grandpas H farmall, my wifes grandpas McCormick Deering WR9. now its time for "Little Red". My family has a serious case of red fever with no cure in sight.

I realy enjoy the enthusiasm that you guys have for your Scouts and trucks. :)
