Guys,

I am located in Texarkana, TX and I am looking for an engine builder/machine shop with experience and/or knowledge dealing with some of the idiosyncrasies of the SV engines. I have a 345 with oil pressure and valvetrain ticking issues and I am afraid I may have cam bearing and oiling problems. However, I am not an expert regarding these engines and this “diagnosis” is strictly based off of what I have read while researching my problem. Anyway, it seems like it may be wise to seek out an engine builder with some IH experience if I want the rebuild done correctly. Does anyone have any recommendations?

There is a machine shop in ftworth that I have used for two IH motors. H&H machine. They have done a great job on both engines.

Man, post your numbers here but they are ok IMO what you sent me. 10psi idle and 30psi down road. Also the tick just need more troubleshooting, someone with IH ear.

I would inspect everything if good run it then rebuild it later.
