Are there any clubs in New England?

I wish!

I'm in Southern NH... there are a few Scout folks around, here and there. But I'm not aware of any Scout clubs.

There is a New England chapter of the International Harvester Collectors Club (I think they are largely based out of MA), but they are pretty focused on Tractors/etc. They do a show in Dublin, NH in August, and there are always some Scout and Truck guys who show up. I don't belong to it, but I've brought my Scout the past couple of years.

I've got a '77 Scout II, and a '70 800 that is stuck in storage, until I have a home with a garage again. You?

It would be cool to round up some of the New England Scout folks and have some kind of gathering. When I lived in AZ, we had an active Scout club, and it was a great group of people. (Sonora Desert Scouts).

I don't have a scout yet. I'm looking for an 800...I'd be open to trying to start something up if there was enough interest...

Here in upstate New York, we formed a chapter of the Antique Truck Club of America, we are the International Motor Truck chapter. You have to be a member of the ATCA to join our chapter. We put on the largest all IH truck and Scout show on the east coast in July in Muncy PA< near Williamsport. Williamsport is convieniently located within a one days drive from many large cities in the northeast. We do have local meetings, picnics with our Internationals and get togethers to go to parades and car shows. Plus the occasional wrench day at somones shop. Stan Lazeski

Sounds like you guys have a good deal up there. Once I get a vehicle I'll see what I can get going down my way.

Hey Stan,
What date is your Muncy, Pa. show?

A couple of us are going the the All Truck Nationals in Carlisle, Pa. Aug 7-8-9th.
The Triple Diamond FourWheelers out of NJ. sponsor a IH club meet at the show.

Hi. Just resurrecting an old thread. I’m in New Hampshire on the Vermont border looking for some Scout people to get together.

I'm all ears...I think at a minimum we should start maybe a FB group or something to be able to swap parts, help each other out, etc. It's tough getting groups together especially long distances. Open to options.

Ok I reactivated my Facebook and created a group called NHIH. I’m sure there’s a place here to post social media accounts but I haven’t found it yet. Lol.

I've been into Scouts for 5 years and no Scout clubs I know of in NE or CT just tons of FB groups. This Forum is excellent as well. People are hit or miss as well. Met some good guys and met some real a$$holes too. I just don't think there is enough interest in NE for a club but I could be wrong. What specific information are you looking for?

I do enjoy this site it has helped me a ton getting my truck up and running. I am looking for one Rallye wheel, I have a set on my truck but would like one for my spare tire. Besides that just nice to know of others around.

Probably better off joining a local car club or wheeling club or heck start your own scout club!

I joined a local 4x4 club as that's what I found more interesting.

There are a handful of guys in the area with Scouts that are active on this site. There are also a few who are not.

Ive been to the show in Dublin NH but it was more of a tractor show. There were only a few Scouts the year i went.

I live in MA and over the past 10 or so years ive made it to the Bass Pro car show in foxboro a few times and dont recall ever seeing another scout.

I have 800 A’s. Sold my 79 Scout II about 6 years ago to a guy in middleboro ma who auqairerd a bunch more after that. Havent seen him in a while bit think he has 8 or more.
