My guess is a weekend would be better for folks. Day or evening? We could do pot luck or there are restaurants or pizza and beer places close by.

My interest is for all things IH: Scouts, Travelalls, Light and Medium duty Trucks, Farmall Tractors and Cub Cadets.

We could work on a spring/summer schedule of trail rides, camping, cookouts, tech stuff, group participation in IH events, whatever the group's interest.

I'm curious of how many IH enthusiasts are out there locally. For the last three years at the Scout Nationals (held in September in Springfield, Ohio) Melanie and I have only met two people from Massachusetts. It's a great time. The Red Power Roundup held each year is another great national event. A plan for a caravan to either or both events could be worked on if there was interest. So... post some ideas and let's plan a date.

There are quite a few Scout owners around here. Not all of them are on this board. We have been staying in touch thru email.
Me & friend drove my Scout out to the Nat's 2yrs ago. We didn't make last year.I think one reason you don't see many local people out there is just fact that it's such a long ride.

There is small group of us that has have attended the East Coast Scout show in Carlisle, PA. for several years. It's part of the All Truck National's. The Triple Diamond club out of NJ. just took over hosting the show last year. The show is August 5-7 this year. www.carsatcarlise.com. or www.triplediamond.org. This is nice show.

We have also attended some of the American Truck Historical Society shows. They have a nice show in Hudson, Ma. & Strafford, NH. They have other shows going on in every state.

I would perfer a wkend meet, just because of travel time.

The weekend event would be great. Only been to the nationals once. great time but it is a long drive if you don't have the extra time off. most of the suggestions sound good.

Would love to get to the nationals. Keep saying I'm going to go every year, maybe this will be the year!!. :D I'm up for a meet even though RI is a haul for me. Didnt we meet in Salem, NH once? That wasnt a bad ride. How is it for everyone else?

If the timing is right, I'm in. I have several other trips to the south to make this spring. Can't make it this weekend though, I'm not street legal yet. :)

Just saw a Dark Green Scout II Saturday on Route 93. It was heading South passing through Wilmington/ Tewksbury MA area, I was heading North. Looked like it had a gold flake wide stipe on the side. Too bad I was in my wagon :(

Any ideas on a date? How about the weekend of 5/28?

Ok. Folks have checked in and it looks like we have a good size group. interested in getting together. Looking over the dates would Saturday, 14 May or Sunday the 15th work for most? An alternate would be 28 or 29 May but that is Memorial day weekend. Check your calendars and post your thoughts. Take care. Paul

Dave,

I checked out your post for the meet and greet on Sunday. I have the top off of the 800 getting ready to put a new rear floor in that I bought at the Nats back in September. If the weather is good we'll be there.
Thanks, Paul
