It's that time of year again...
This winter I discovered a blown head gasket, my radiator was pressurizing due to a leak around the number 2 cylinder. With that fixed I added a high volume water pump and a new radiator/fan system. The radiator/fan setup was donated by a generous individual in the IH community, thanks Rob.
Here are a few pictures of the new setup, I am just waiting on my new hoses to finalize the project.
that is awesome !!!!! love that your IH is dodge powered.i am a dodge guy and have a 1967 scout that i just put a 360 with a 727in it.you said when you when you just got it running you had ignition problems, what was it ? and what is in it now. my son and i use MSD ignitions in his cars they work great.
looks like you guys had a good and fun year.whats the next upgrade?
Monte, Thats just cool. I'm jealous, I so bad want to build a truck that will kick ***. Ether a Baja racer, mud truck or something of that nature. I keep myself so buried in builds and just don't have a chance to get to a racer. I am doing the hand controlled Scout it's out for paint now. Should have it wrapped up by Dec then have two more to do before I can catch my breath.
Looks like you guys are having so much fun, so do you guys enjoy this more than crawling? Glad to see the radiator is working, looks bling back there.
