    someone else told me the same thing so it must be true. Gil was kinda timid, he would close his eyes when picked up. He is hopefully roaming the yard/creek today doing important turtle stuff.

    Picked up my heads yesterday afternoon. Total was $481.97. Tax alone was $40.81! That was a valve job, mill heads (.008), vacuum test, magna flux heads, clean, and new freeze plugs. I think that is a great deal! I won't be able to get into it until later today but really hoping to bring this chapter of a non-runner to a close.

    I was wondering if that was what that little guy was. We were taught the terrors of those during our summer trips to Connecticut when I was a little kid. Places you simply didn't go on the property, things like that.

    just trying to keep up with you and Ed ! HAHA. Well, there is some truth to that probably. I managed to not touch it at all yesterday. We were running all over town catching up on errands and such. Todays project is my DD, it was throwing codes (O2 sensor) and developed a hard mis fire on #4. I got new O2 sensors from O Reilly yesterday and ordered new coil packs which will be here Friday. Its an I-30 Infiniti with 220,000 miles on it. I replaced the coil packs once before around 100,000 so I guess its time. Dew won't be happy, he does not like anything BUT an IH in the shop. I did some work on my neighbors D100 Dodge not so long ago, and he was furious that it was even IN the shop. Guess we will struggle thru. Mrs JJ has school all day, so we won't be bothered with pesky Dollar General runs etc.

    You guys are sooooooooooo funny.

    I admit, I earned it HAHAHA. Also made DAMN SURE THEY WERE PLACED PROPERLY!

    My back is not happy today after moving all of that good American metal around yesterday. Guess Ill take 4 motrins and get started. Mrs JJ is having dinner with the girls tonight so that will afford me the luxury of a late night myself!

    I didn't mention the Infiniti story, Nissan wanted $128 a piece for new injectors and even with my OReilly account it was still $85 per. So I went out to a local country junkyard and paid $6.28 from a low miles car that had been wrecked. No more error codes.

    I also spotted Tow Mater enjoying his afternoon too. This would be really cool as yard art, if it was an IH I would be all over it!

    thanks, I too am glad to be bolting stuff on instead of off. I don't think $480 was terrible considering what they did, but, what can you do but pay the man at the end anyway. Gil is probably still out there doing turtle stuff.

    There has been other stuff in my life the last few days, and only last night did I resume. There was a 2 hour fight with clutch linkage that is still undecided, much like the election HAHAHAHA.

    Today is the day, hopefully. Fingers crossed.

    I feel like its been this way, where I was trying to get to the Drs office yesterday for my yearly man-date with Dr Ryan and ended up sitting on the highway for a very long time... don't laugh youngsters, one day you will wake up and not be 50+ anymore :wheelchair:
