Go down lower on the main Forums page to the Club section, and check out Triple Diamond Four Wheelers. They also have a FB page, there are people from all over that area involved, a good bunch of people to know.
Mark, I'm from Monroe Township. Exit 8a on the Turnpike. I have 2 Scouts. I've never gotten a response from any of our clubs in this region since I first joined. I have a 10 acre farm www.cranburybrookfarm.com and have offered it for a meet and greet but never got an answer. Maybe we can change that!
I'm kinda out of the way, I'm over in northwest pa but not opposed to a drive haha Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk
Here in central jersey, south amboy n.j. been tinkering with scouts for over 30 years, restoring a 1980 II now , sold my last two beauty's, you mite of seen them on e-bay ,. Jim
Oddly enough, I am also in Newton NJ and my name is Marc. Maybe you've seen my 200 driving around lately? Actually I'm just outside of Newton, in Fredon. Where are you?
Really? No, I haven't seen it! I never knew that anyone owned one of those in this area. I used to live in fredon. I'm in Stillwater now. It's actually pretty cool to know that someone close owns one of those. I'm currently building a 1310 4X4. Would you happen to know someone named Donny? He runs an iron works business. My name is Mark, by the way.
Yup Donnie Banta is a good friend of mine, he owns Banta Ironworks...Are you friends with him too? I figured I was the only guy in the area who was really into IH's as well... Recently started seeing some hope though... There's been an early D-series travelall that I've seen tooling around Newton and on my way up to work in Vernon a few times. There's also a few scouts in the area that I see from time to time.. Haven't seen any other D-series pickups thats for sure! Is your 1310 a mason dump? I know there was one for sale over at waterwheel farm for a while earlier this year. I also grew up and went to school in Stillwater. I'd love to check out your project some time... Every IH I own is a project.
Yep, Donny is a friend on mine also. The company I work for is actually in the same building. You are not alone with the IH stuff. I am an absolute maniac when it comes to IH. I have quite a collection of IHs and parts. The only reason I don't buy everything I see, is because I don't have enough money. I know a few other IH fans, but they aren't quite to the extent I am. And the 1310 that was at Waterwheel Farm is in fact the one I have.
