I was able to get a Gates 23968 neck filler hose at O'Rileys which worked, had to wrestle with it more than I wanted - but it fit. The tank went in OK - only 2 busted knuckles which is less than I expected. The Grote marker lights look really good, I used some custom 120 Lumen LEDs. In the photo they look washed out, but in real life they're not. They about 4 times brighter than stock and use a fraction of the power. I'll be making some tail-light next. I already did the front turn signal but don't have a photo.
I have a question - The Scout's lopsided when you look at the bumper compared to the body. The previous owner did some body repair s to the floorboards & rockers. Is this something I should consider now or wait until I do a body off repair in 3-4 years? Is there a way to improve things - relatively simply?
