Hey everyone, finally got my door latch back out to try to see the issue with the door latch drooping down when the handle is pressed. It looks like the main center coil spring is half missing. Looking at it further it seems nonreplaceable and that the spring is pressed on. Does anyone have any fixes or any sources for replacements that aren't 350$ for the entire assembly? Any help is appreciated and I will attach a photo of mine for reference.

    Thanks,

Going to leave this up for anyone with an issue similar in the future. If the latch droops down when either handle is pressed and held down it is due to the center coil spring in the back of the assembly breaking off, unfortunately, this is not a swappable spring as it is center pressed into the assembly and will require assembly replacement(unless you have the materials and skill to punch out and weld back).
