1955 International Pickup Restoration

We have a 1955 International Pickup that we are restoring and I have searched high and low for the DUPONT paint formulas for the Harvester Red #50 and the Magnolia Ivory #9. I cannot find it ANYWHERE!!!! We want this truck to be restored to it's original beauty and the two toned red and cream colors are gorgeous! If there are any IH enthusiasts who want to help me, it would be greatly appreciated!!!!! We have the truck completely stripped down and in primer now and are at a standstill with paint until we find the correct codes and formulas!

google search gave me a DuPont 93-6990R for harvester red #50 no DuPont # for the magnolia but found a PPG 80863 and a rogers number

I found the exact same thing that you did. I'm needing to find the Dupont formula for the Magnolia Ivory #9. I've got the formula for the red now.. We are finding the same thing haha!

Its very possible that dupont no longer makes the color. You may have to go with ppg, to get close. I had this same problem recently when i was looking for a particular color for my scout.

Unfortunately, if you cant find it though paint ref in dupont, you may have to go with another maker.

If you really want DuPont paint, you could go to a PPG dealer and have them mix you a pint of the magnolia ivory. Paint a sample piece of metal and take it your DuPont dealer to match. My PPG dealer didn't have the info to mix the Willow Green for my truck, but they were able to create it by shooting a pic of the good paint on the back of the cab with a special camera.
