  • My name is Daniel Miller, I recently found a registration from 1984 of my fathers. I have a few scouts of my own. I was interested to know if your still collecting vins, and if you had any info for my fathers truck?... My email is SSDanielSS@Gmail.com please let me know either way.
Just pulled a Comanche out of a junk yard yard last week and seen your post about the Comanches . How many have you tracked down? This one is in Idaho and has a v8 . Any info you can tell me would be great.
Hey there Roy, from the looks of things it appears you're the go to guy for Vin knowledge. I'm wondering if you might be willing to check/chalk up my Vin on my newest scout 80 that was just delivered please and thank you. FC102427A Showing a year of 1965 on the title, thanks for your time and consideration,
    Jeff.

    Jeffery,
Sorry for the delay in replying. I haven't been checking BP for a while.
Your vin appears to be in the August 1964 range of production. It's likely that it wasn't sold and titled until 1965 hence, the date on the title.
More interesting though, is that it falls in the range of Red Carpet Series production. Do you have a line set ticket that could confirm that?

    Roy
i recently inherited a Scout 80 4x4 with the Serial no. FC43335A-2. Can you tell me something about this by emailing me back at jevans@tsbyrne.com
