      Hey Don, I ran across your thread about the old front bumper welded to the frame. I saw that you were working on it, and I need to do the same on my 800. How did that turn out, and did you find a stock replacement bumper to install? I am looking for options, and someone told me to buy a Bronco bumper and make it fit. Not sure I love that idea.

      Interested to hear your thoughts.

        The bumper was a real pain to remove and so I had a lot of metal to weld back in for the repair. . I would rather use the Scout II bumpers instead of the Bronco ones. You should be able to find a restorable original Scout 80 or 800 one though. As long as it’s not a total pretzel you should be able to straighten. If it’s really bad take it to a chrome shop and just get them to straighten it.
