One of the local residents of Pueblo wanted an up-close and personal look at the Scout… and then ran into the back of me. I'm guessing the State Police don't like Texans or Scouts...after 30 minutes of questioning on what I was doing in Colorado, how long was I there for and why would you drive all of that way for a car show, they gave me a ticket and said "have a fun and hot drive home". 4 hours later, I had a blow out on the right front tire. It was an interesting ride home but I'm ready for next year!

I can't speak for their view of Texans, but from my experiences when I lived in state they don't like Scouts! Maybe that was just mine...

I am surprised, however, that they gave you the ticket... doesn't sound like it was your fault (doesn't look that way from the pics either). That stinks, but I'm glad it didn't turn you off from wanting to come back next year!

Looks great! Thanks for the pictures! Did you guys make it all the way to the top of Wheeler Lake? Looks like there wasn't too much snow.

We did make it to the lake, ran into one little snow patch along the way but the rest of the trail was clear. In fact, some of us did some "sledding" on a large snowpatch we found up at the lake - the snow was at least 3 feet deep or so (however long it is from the tip of my toes to my hip...). All of the trucks ran well and we had a great day!
