I will be there with some friends from Canton. We drove up last year and I hope to get the new project finished in time and drive it up this year.

I'm signed up now so I'm in. I think I might head up on Wednesday or Thursday to check out the sights. I did Wheeler Lake 2 years ago and that was a good trail. I missed out on the Leadville trail last time so I'm got to take that trip this year. Looks like the trail rides will be Sunday and Monday but I'm not sure what tails they are planning to run this year.

I would like to do Holy Cross after the show trail runs. Haven't got to make it to the top yet. Got late one year, then last year some of the trucks w/us had some difficulties w/parts coming apart and I didn't want to go by myself. Any takers????

How bad is Holy Cross? I'm in if it doesn’t require body damage. How far is it from Fairplay?

It should be doable without damage. Rockers may slide in a couple of spots but w/finesse driving you would be fine and not afraid to winch to save parts in a couple spots. Can always park and hike up from the top 3 obstacles. I think they are close to the top. I went up them and then we ran out of daylight to get back down in a timely fashion. Its about hour or so north of Fairplay. Nice trail though.
