I am at a point where business is picking up to the point that I can not keep up all by myself again. So I have decided to start the process to find someone that fit's the shops needs. The shop is located in Bremerton, WA. 98312

The needs are varied, but the key to anyone that gets hired is set of core values. No one is more important that any other, but all hold the same TOP spot.

As a basic list here a small sample of the qualities I am looking for.
1. Welding
2. shipping receiving
3. phones, order desk
4. Mechanical abilities (do you have your own tools?)
5. Knowledge of product
6. Internet and website knowledge
7. Customer service
8. Gopher
9. Funny and a pleasure to work with
10. Dedication to success

You don’t need to meet all the requirements, but the more tasks you can perform well means allot to me. In other words keeping the shop clean is just as important to me as someone who can tig like a computer. If you can clone me, your hired as of yesterday.

Update: Well thus far i have recieved interest from many who already have a job that pays well and is secure. Unfortunatley none of them are willing to leave their current job (I sided with them on that as the offroad industry is quite volitile currentley with the trends in the country).

So does anyone know of a good go get em, willing to learn person that wants to contribute to a team goal and strive for excellence? Oh and they must have common sense. (I wizz quizz for stupidity..hahahah ) Please send them my way.

I know what you are going through. I'm at the point where I could really use a part time employee. Most of the potential candidates have current, steady jobs as you stated. Although I'm one of the lesser known Light Line Dealers (www.barnesih.com) but I'm busy as heck with local restoration work and parts sales with hardly any advertising whatsoever. Good employees are probably the single most important thing in growing a successful business. Wish you well on your search for a candidate.
