Are you going to have the same shop paint it that painted your Midas?

Most of the Terrastars seem to have fender flares, but I think it also looks good without them. Can you tell if your truck came with them?
It had them, but doesn't anymore, you can see the outline where they used to be. Obviously somebody along the line liked them enough to make off with them....

Other than the Grille guard(per the lineset ticket), and the spreader bars for the canvas or nylon tonneau cover, my Terra is complete as well. It needs a bunch of work, but some of that is going to go on this winter, where I will freeze my #%@$ off. I have to rerun a hard metal line to the rear hose, so that I can have rear brakes and get those bled. That and some of the front stuff still needs done as well. Either way, nice find Steve. I am jealous, but in a good way, and you saved another rare model from the crusher. Definately looking forwards to the progress to be made on it.

Jeff

Bringing this thread back up....

Has anyone ever acquired or seen a Travelstar?

I have seen the Terrastar and the Midnightstar, but never the Travelstar.

On page 2 of this thread there is a picture in the magazine article. I wish it was in color so we could see the "wet look paint."

The Travelstar looks to basically be a 118"WB with the appearance of the SSII parts. Without the color to know what the options were for paint, it would be cool to know some numbers of those. We seem to have a plethora of the 118" trucks. Now if Dennis was willing to part with his TerraStar for cheap......
