Default CVI Goodtimes Brochure

I was wondering if Goodtimes or CVI produced a sales brochure for their trucks. I just bough a 1979 Scout II Midnitestar, made by Goodtimes. I would love to see a brochure that showed what the truck came with. The truck seems pretty complete. But to see a sales brochure would be really cool, and give me an idea what they looked like back in the day.

Keep an eye on eBay in case anything comes up...I have various search alerts for similar stuff...the other net scourer is craigslook.com (now called http://claz.org/), search all US CraigsLists...

I have done all of the searches and have not come up with anything. What I am really wondering is did they have a brochure? I have never seen or heard of one.

They produced one for the midas scout so I would assume one exists for thee midnightstar amonst other limited edition models. The only thing that I have seen that had any information is a magazine called Collectible Automobile about 10 years ago or so. It was a 10 page article about the Scout in general with a couple pages dealing with the limited editions

Steve - I searched for Collectible Automobile Magazine and the June 1996 issue featured the Scout. This may be the issue that Paul is referring to.

If anyone is going to have one it is SuperScoutSpecialists. Here is an album from their site http://www.superscoutspecialists.com...albums/14.aspx with some pics of CVI rigs.

do you have any pics of your midnitestar, they are probably my favorite Scout II option

I have a fourwheeler mag from '79 that has a nice article on the MidnightStar, TerraStar and TrailStar Scouts if you would like I can copy that on there

I posted pictures of the truck under Midnitestar found, http://www.binderplanet.com/forums/s...ht=Midnitestar
I would love for you to post or email me the magazine article from '79.
I got a call yesterday from the salvage yard, he found the hood scoop. I am going to pick it up on Friday. I'm pumped, that is a huge find.
