Scored a TBI, wiring, and computer!

my friend was going to convert his K5 blazer to TBI and never got around to it. so i bought the TBI, complete harness, and the computer. i'm missing a few sensors but i'll print out the parts list and gather what i need. i was told it's off an '89 1 ton van with a 350. i took a pic of what i got and the computer (it's blurry, can ya make it out?). not bad for $100 eh? i'll be around to bother ya more now!!

i'm looking into getting sensors, i'm probably going to run a VSS, i heard it helps when returning to idle at a stop. on the speedo cable under the brake booster is a round cylinder with 2 wires coming out of it, will this work, or do i need GM one? will it go in place of the one on there?

i was looking at ragged's parts, what do i need, i see 6 sensors in a set, but i only really need one or 2 in that bunch right? i see the map sensor and spark control (still undecided what i'm doing for a dist....), i still need a temp sensor...and a few others right?

ummm, you have the system there so I can't tell you what you need.
You said you are missing sensors and he sells sensors.

If you don't want to buy all of them to have spares then just email him with what you need.

IMO you should run the knock if you don't plan to burn chips.

Compare your parts to the parts required.

Good point, ill leave the spares in the glovebox.... I'm going to look for a cheap laptop to burn the chip. I want to have it the best I can get it. Bill what dist do you recommend?
