Default Mr. Scout lift springs before and after

I know I really wanted a pic like this when I was deciding what to do. This is with the 2.5" Mr Scout springs plus 4" shackles from IHON. I figure it nets about 3" total lift. I ordered 32x9.5 tires, hope they fit. The tires in the pic say 30" but they measure 29.

I have a 65-80 also.
What was the total cost of the springs and shackles with shipping?

I got the kit which has springs, bushings, U-bolts and shocks. That was $850 plus a little over $100 to ship. Shackles were from IH Only North. I think they were $50 a pair. They are ridiculously heavy duty.

I put 4* shims, but I'm not totally sure they are necessary. The shackles will change caster for the worse and shims can put it back the other way. I don't think longer brake lines are required, at least not in my case. I'm not sure if my lines are original, but it looks like the shock will bottom out first. I plan to double check all this stuff before doing any serious off-roading though.

Looks tuff. Stock Rubber brake lines stretch and blow out. Check them at full articulation.

Nit-picking, but shims don't correct alignment, they correct caster.

My 4" lift required a longer rear line, but the fronts are ok. I'm still going to replace them though, because my replacements are stainless.

I was wondering if I should get some longer bump stops with the lift. What do you guys think?

I have about the same lift on mine and I am running 32x11.50 GoodYear MT/Rs. I get a little rub at full flex, but other than that, they run OK.
