Thanks JJ. I'll do the contacts today via email. I agree, hockey pucks don't sound all that long lasting. (I grew up in Minnesota).. I did wonder if "energy suspension" might make them in a more generic form too.

Also, do you know how large a file BP will accept for photos? I've got some I took where the two vehicles "wintered". They're good "beginning/before" shots.

I put new Poly mounts on mine a few yrs ago. John Fleck at IH Only North "I think" sold them to me. 90.00 a set. I put new brake hoses on mine from SS, they had them in stock and have very quick delivery..Less then 3 days most of time. They also have allot of other parts (new) for the Travelall as well.
In a few weeks, I will be doing another body swap on another Travelall as well for a friend of mine.

Thanks much David.

You guys on here are great!! Your helping me finish up my list of "needs" before diving into this project makes this all MUCH easier and less stressful. I want to have some of the basic parts on order before kicking off the project.

At this point, it appears that we're about set to start and begin Phase 1. That's the removal of the old body, pressure washing the frame/drive train. Sandblasting, cleaning and painting the frame. And degreasing, replacing any needed seals and painting the drive train. I want to put on all new rubber products and lines. I also have to do a couple of small repairs to the drive train before finishing up detailing and getting it ready for the new body.

While the frame is getting done, I'll be starting phase 2 which consists of gutting out the new body down to the bare floor, cleaning up any under-belly rust and taking it off the 2-wheel drive frame. Preparing and getting it ready for relocation to the 4x4 chassis.

Thanks again and I'm sorry if my questions are a burden. I'm looking forward to getting involved with the Binder crew once I'm on the road.

Take care!

Ted

As far as I am aware, the only person that has the Travelall body bushings is John Fleck. I think John's price is around $110 now for the set.

Looking forward to your write up. As far as pictures, you can host them on another site and link to them, or upload them here. The max jpeg is 4000x4000 and 4.77 MB that you can upload.

Ted, I just sent you an email on how to post photos, written by Robby St Louis from SEBA.

Thanks Mitch, I just sent John a Private Message on the bushings.

And JJ, I saw you sent it and I will get to my email in a bit. Thanks much. Nothing great on pics yet, but you can see where they were "sleeping" away the winter. hahahaha I'll get a couple pics up soon and most likely set up a "site" later for the entire photo layout as it progresses.

Buy the way, I found NAPA has the brakeline hoses for the front and rear axles so I ordered them. They're not braided, but I'm not all that worried. As I get further along in the project, I'm not opposed to switching out for looks later.

Thanks again guys.
Ted

Here are a few pics of the two T-all's following winter sleeping. Green body will be going onto Old Blue's chassis. Hope this works!!!
