Is it vapor locking?
Have you very carefully pulled the top off the carb when this happens to see if there's any gas in there? Once warm it doesn't run right? Is the choke working properly? Just some random ideas that came to mind... -Gary

Have you replaced the ignition coil? When coils get "old," the spark gets progressively weaker as the coil heats up (when the engine is running). First thing in the morning, it works great, but it quickly goes downhill from there...
It looks like you've got fuel; next time she quits, pull a plug and see if you've got fire. Good Luck, Mike

Closely related to Mike's post, the wrong coil...more to the point...the wrong resistance value can create this problem too. I'll be interested to read the answer to Mike's question.
