Ditto. For some reason or another your t-case isn't shifting completely into 4lo. I would guess slop in the linkage is causing the front axle shift rail to not fully engage .

Well the shift lever knob ends up about 1" from the hood release knob. But I will definatly drop it and check it out after the weather gets warm. I'm glad to hear it's not probably a broken gear or anything major.

what thier saying is to pull the boot up and shift into 4lo and make sure the shifter is not hitting the body. Or that it's hitting the boot.
