I ordered a vss from jtr for 75.00. They sent it out quickly. The cost of shipping was included. Now I have the last piece.

You will enjoy it. I had fast shipping on mine, as well.
Don't forget to play with your EGR settings, as the ECM will now try to turn the EGR on during certain conditions. If you have no EGR, you'll get a trouble code when it tries to turn it on and doesn't see any change. |

Ethan,
Are the EGR operational values controlled by the PROM and not the ECM? |

I run the 1227747.
Tuner Pro's mask has settings for setting the temp for when the EGR can turn on. You can set the temp to the maximum setting. That way, it never gets to the "correct" temp for the EGR to turn on. Voila! Problem solved.

I think I covered the basic chip parameters in the tuning FAQ's.
Like the basic chip adjustments.
