I'd say semi gloss of the old McCormick gray and maroon. A great darker gray with a deep rich maroon, looked classy on the tractors and would look great on a hot rod of that style, plus you'd have the kick back to old International.

I may also be interested in the fenders and running boards if your not using and still have.

Awesome project. Any idea if this was completed yet? My vote is on a bright green, similar to a Dodge color from a couple of years ago called Nitro Yello-Green. Or, to give it a little vintage IH flair, 1970's IH Grenoble Green.

Project just keeps hanging out I have the motor work done needs to be assembled, but I have three Scout to build before I can do my own stuff. I have sent the radiator cowl out for paint to get me inspired. the color is.....

White, frame will be powder coated hammered black, engine, transmission, and rear axle IH red. Then a tasteful amount of chrome through out. Plus a nice polished aluminum 6:71 blower. Also planing on doing the seat and door panels with Guernsey Cow (black and white) hide hare on.

I like this.

Retro... Classy... Good Looking... and still meaningful to the IH heritage.

Edit: Bah. Should have read through to the last post before opening my trap.

White's not a bad color, kind of boring in my opinion, but a classic nonetheless. I say go for a nice satin color. Not black of course, but like a darker orange/red tone. True to IH and rods everywhere. Just my thought, but I'm a little late to the party.

Well Robert,
For you I would recommend a pink and periwinkle two-tone.

---All IH colors. International Red radiator, International White hood scoop, International Blue body (or cab and Black bed). And a FWIW, The Armor A05 Chinese (Cherry) Red I doused my Oil Pan with, is an exact match to the DEM-KOTE 1D486 I purchased liquidated from Townline Unlimited (Farm Store) in Michigan in 1997. The DEM-KOTE was an exact match the the original paint on Heinz, so if you want what looks just like old IH Red, that which my International dealership sells, that would be Armor A05 Chinese (Cherry) Red.

---Armstrong's Oxidized Red (34302)...

---Closest I could find for `34 IH was 1937...

---Nothing before that but `17 and in 1917 the only color was Lime Green. Code 5857, Ditzler 44003
