It's finally under the knife

Just thought I'd post an update... Got the short block together, oil pan on and cam in, timing set it, front cover on and balancer, and both water and fuel pumps. Got the lifters soaking too. Hopefully the new head will show up soon, then I can throw some new paint at it. I know it's not an IH motor, but I wanna go with red engine paint... lol. Gotta order my clutch and then toss it in! Ready to hear the little guy run.
