Good to hear Don. I hate to ruin the party, but the mileage should be closer to 6200-6500. We put a good many miles on it before getting the speedo setup and programmed. So when is the dyno run?

Well, I drive basically every day.... It can only get so many miles when my commute is ~9mi each way + random other drives.

I thought about a dyno run, and gave a thought to finding a 1/4 mile run for fun. I know it'll be ridiculous compared to everything else there, but it would be interesting to see just what it would do. There's a strip in Walla Walla, about 1 hr away.....

I just did a quick google search. They had a Cummins dyno day in Kennewick earlier this summer. I think it would be cool to pull up to a Cummins event with the Traveler. I would also put money on it that if you found a diesel drag day, there would be a mobile dyno in the parking lot.

Approaching 10k miles on the Traveler since the build...

Moved back to Raleigh, NC after getting laid off in December which meant another cross country drive for it. No towing this time, but had a disassembled Hemi in the back, an extra 4bt head, and other parts and stuff. Spent 4 days going 75-80mph and got over 18mpg. It does way better if I keep it under 60mph (both for rpm sweet spot and for its awesome aerodynamics), but I wanted to get the drive over with.
