I've got a new set of Scout II urethane body mount bushings I bought from SSS a while back. They are Prothane brand, part number: 9-101 Here is a link to them on SSS: http://www.superscoutspecialists.com...-scout-ii.aspx I would prefer to have a black set instead of these red ones. If you have a new black set I'll trade you these and give you $25. Otherwise I'll sell these for $50 and buy some black ones. ***SOLD to raleighrugger*** Last edited by Keith F; 08-13-2009 at 04:38 PM. Reason: SOLD! |

I've compiled all of my junque into one post, to keep it all together:
If anyone has any interest in a Scout diesel engine, now'd be the time to hit me up. Diesels are not my game right now, and I have one disassembled with all new parts and machine work done. It just needs put together. I also have the one in Blackie, but I will likely hold onto it for a while just in case something comes up...unless the money's right. So: SD33T, some assembly required...best offer (I've got $1400 in parts and machine work...don't hurt me too bad!) SD33T, bringin' the bling-bling...best offer (it's gonna hafta be a good one) __________________________________________________ __ 345 engine, some assembly required. This is one that Eddie bought from Dave Nutter a couple years ago. It's got a pile of new parts, and the machine work is mostly done. There are a few places on the crank that we think may/may not be able to be polished back out without turning it, but otherwise it looks usable. IIRC, it has new pistons, rings, bearings, etc. I really don't remember. There are many extra parts to go along with it, too. 2bbl or 4 bbl manifold, your choice. Pretty much a complete engine plus some (except possibly the crank), needing assembled. Make an offer. 4 speed wide ratio transmission. This is the transmission that was run in Eddie's Scout for several years. Shifts great, no known problems. $200 Bare Scout II frame. This is a frame that has a East Coast Scouts shackle reverse already installed, along with some booty-fabbed front shock mounts. It also had a roll cage tied to the frame, and has remnants of the attachment points still hangin' there. The body is currently still on it, but it will be removed soon. $150 1980 Scout II axles. 3.54 ratio, front and rear removed from a 1980 Scout II with 3' caster. Likely needs bearings/hubs replaced, as it's been sitting outside for a few years with rags shoved in where there should have been lock-out hubs. $150 for the set. Scout II inner fenders, doors, fuel tank skid plates, axles, etc, etc. We have way more stuff than we'll ever use, and we are short on room in the shop. If you have a need, please PM, email or call me and see what we have. I am interested in C series (The REAL C's...from the 30's, not those cheesy wanna be's from the 60's!) parts, any and all, otherwise these will be cash deals most likely. All of this stuff is on Bridgewater. PM or email me.

Was formerly part of a piano making company in Baltimore. Thick beech top, has front and end vises and original iron dogs. Very solid, needs shoring/tightening a little. Has a lot of character. Back panel was replaced with a modern plywood and it would be best to eventually replace this with a nice hand planed panel or a high end plywood.

The need is fulfilled thanks for all the offers!
The spring broke on my passenger side wiper arm. I replaced the spring with the closest match I could find at the hardware store, but it's too weak and now my wiper arm is limp wristed. It looks fine, and will probably work when stationary, but it's not gonna cut it in the rain on the highway. Soooo, I guess I need a replacement wiper arm... Anyone got a spare? I guess condition of the arm itself doesn't matter, because I could swap the spring to my current arm... Thanks, -Keith Last edited by Keith F; 09-25-2009 at 09:30 AM. Reason: Got er done! |

That Travelall has been on the market for ever. I mean YEARS. At one point he had some professional vinyl stickers in the back windows with 'For Sale ###-####" on them. I've never stopped to look at it but from the road it does look very pretty. FWIW.
Edit: Somebody get this thing! http://harrisonburg.craigslist.org/cto/1365431252.html It looks great from the pics!! I don't have room to bring it home right now...
