Went and looked at what is claiming to be a 1965 Scout 800 that was advertised on CL for $500 but she really just wants it gone because her HOA is starting to raise some issues.

Specs:
1965 800 Traveltop
152
3 speed (I think)
D20 Dual Shifters
D44 Center diff flanged rear axle
D27 Front

It had rus ty rockers, a patch on the passenger side, rusted out about the back 8 inches of the bed and a couple holes in the left quarters. Body mounts look pretty decent and the top in good shape. The lift gate has a little rust through on the bottom, but easily repairable and the tailgate around the hinge area is pretty rusty. She had an offer for $250 and I told her to go ahead and take it, but if someone here wants it let me know ASAP and I will call her right back and see about getting it. I forgot to ask about the title.

I found a 1972 2WD Scout II in the Mid Atlantic Trading post. I called the gentleman and inquired about it. ( I thought it was 4WD) The ad said fair condition. He said the body was in very good shape with a small amount of rust on the bottom of the fenders. It has a 4banger in it. He is asking 750.00
he is located in Cumberland County VA. His number is 804-492-5445. If someone is looking for a good body then I guess that's a deal. I would buy it but I am looking for a 800A. Hope someone can use it cause he was really anxious to sell it.

I have a buildable 304 complete (never heard it run, but it is turning by hand) with 4spd and transfer out of a 78 Terra. I am considering trading all for a running 196 to go into a 66 800. jlbair1@gmail.com Luke

I'm looking for a t-19 with granny 1st for my 73 Scout. I'll take a whole drivetrain if someone doesn't want to separate.

I see the post above but it is 4 hours away. I'm in the Winchester, VA area.

Thanks,
Daniel

Just posted an ad in the classifieds for a free Traveler top, if anyone needs one. Just taking up space. It's gotta go. It was given to me, so I'm passing on the favor.

See everyone at Nats. Well, at least until mid day Saturday when I have to head back.
