![]() Here Chief Wilfong presents Steve his Department Statue, he also received his service weapon ( a nice Sig Sauer Auto ) and his badge. 27 years on the streets and T.J. Hooker hangs it up, crime is bound to increase. Congrats brother.

Congratulations Steve. Twenty Seven years on the street is a testament to your great character and dedication to public safety - Well Done! I'm glad you were not a cop when my cousin and I were 'having fun' in the Greenville/Greer area back in the mid '60s in the vicinity of the Clock Drive-in.
Ummmm - You got pizza, badge and a gun. All I got was a lifetime access to the university's email system and free parking if I ever go back there. Guess that's what taking the easy route gets you. I hope we can get together and rock on the front porch, drool and babble and see if we need to change our Depends. Life's Great. Take care, Don By the way - I suspect your new job will be more time-consuming that your old one! Mine is. |

Steve,
Congrats on making the transition from tired to retired. I guess like most retired, you will get bored and find lots of hobbies to occupy your time. Thanks for serving! Ed

Bruce/Steve, I think my '66 Fairlane was getting too well known in the Greer area, so I'm still hiding it. Maybe I'll get it out of mothballs some day for a nostalgia tour of Greer.
