Yeah Jason, I like to at least start with something clean even though I know it won't last. One of these days when you say, whos up for Gulches or Uwharie I will be able to say, Im in. Might be awhile though.

New motor is in, but not running yet. Im getting spark but not firing up yet. I was given another week off from Freightliner, so I will get some work done on it this week. Only problem is a week off means no money.

Looks great - I like how you painted International black on your valve cover. Did you just free hand it?

Yeah, Just free hand. Since the letters are raised already made it pretty easy.
If you notice the extra hose that looks out of place on top, thats because Mr. clutz here snapped off the copper pipe on the heater coil so I temporarily bypassed it. Once again the theory of "If it doesnt come off, get a bigger hammer" didnt pay off.

IT STARTED!!!
I went back to square 1. I took the distributer out and reset the #1 piston to TDC. I believe I must have been on the exaust stroke before. A little playing with it and she fired up.
