Default A good reference book for old trucks.

Thought I would pass this on. I have a book titled "Standard Catalog Of American Light Duty Trucks", John Gunnell editor. ISBN 0-87341-091-2. Krause Publications. It's a very good reference book for all makes, and contains much good IHC data covering 1909 thru 1980 vehicles. Powertrain specs, production numbers, factory options, decent photos for identification, etc. I purchased first edition back in '87, so don't know if they have recent editions or if this is even in print. Found a used one a few months back in an online auction. This is my "go to" book of first choice and I take it along to any shows, swap meets, junkyards that I go to. If you have other good IHC reference material I would like to know what you use.

Hello, you may want to check out "parts Mikes reading room", it is a few topics down from the "Tripple Diamond" topic. I think it will have several books listed in there and should be of help to you.

Fred Chrismon's book "International Trucks" is the 'bible'
Binderbooks has it.
