Default Buy my Scout!

Check out the ad here.....I'll knock off $50 for anybody in our club that sees the ad on this forum. I'd really like to see this one back on the road and somebody enjoying it....you could have it ready for Scout the Dunes easily!

Man I would love a Terra, if the deal goes through on my FJ40, I will be getting a hold of you soon - that is if you still have it!

Sounds good, but in the interests of honesty, it's not a Terra per se, it's a Scout II with a Terra top. Shorter than a standard Terra, but I think very cool looking...and as of right now, it's still here, I haven't advertised it anywhere else but here. I wanted people on here to get first dibs, it's cheap enough that if I put it on Craigslist or Ebay classifieds some idiot will buy it and trash it out as a mud truck, and it's really got way more potential than that. There are Scouts that are suited for that, but then there are Scouts that are worth fixing and saving and that would make good daily drivers if you wanted to, and this is one of the latter. But for the price, I can see some 17 year old kid trashing it out, and that wouldn't make me happy.

My search of this thread turned up 3 old posts.

I'm looking for a 392 to build. I'm planning on replacing the 304 in my Camper Truck. This rig weighs in at a tick over 8000lbs. The 304 is a little weak in the hills. Thanks
