We are selling the brush guard seen on our Scout. It has a mesh metal sheet added as well as two towing hooks. We just rattle canned it. For $200, I will include two brand new 27' , 5000# straps(hooks on both ends). Will even deliver in upstate SC. This brush guard does have a dent on the lower bar. $ goes to other Scout projects |

I think he was refering to the guy in California that posted his hard top on EBAY, and was replying to a thread that was 6 years old in a club forum on the east coast.

1976 Terra for Sale
Back story: This is not my truck! It is an elderly neighbor that bought it with the intention of fixing it up to take disabled children pheasant and duck hunting on his property. He bought it from the impound lot where it was about to be taken to be crushed(I believe he told me it was a drug seizure that had not sold at auction). He now realizes that it would be easier to get a Kawasaki mule or something similiar for his purposes and wants to sell the Scout. Condition: This is just a quick look over that I did, interested buyer would need to look it over well. The carb is sitting in the front seat (looks to be rebuilt recently due to being clean), the alternator and power steering pump brackets are in the back of the truck, but the alternator and pump are missing. Tires are shot, but three are holding air. Wiring is hacked, has been spliced multiple times, may work, but I wouldn't trust it for long. Body appears to be in pretty good shape from a quick walkaround. Driveline condition is unknown, it is an 8 cylinder, 727 automatic, Dana 20 t-case. Asking price: $2000 Contact me by PM if you are interested. The owner really doesn't want to be bothered with this, and I don't want to see it end up in the scrapper. I had considered it for myself, but don't need another project. |
