Question lift kit reccomendations

Im back from the Army and need to fix my green scout.

Since I broke the spring on my green scout, im going to take the stock , new springs out form under my project scout and buy a 4" lift for my project. At mohawk there was some conversatinos that some brands of kists sagged, some where better than others etc.

What brand of Kit should I buy? Rough Country, Skyjacker, etc??
any advice would be apreciated.

Thanks

James

My Skyjacker Softride sagged in the rear. That's in a truck with a diesel engine, heaver than other engines, and a glass body + a half roof which makes for much lighter in the rear than a regular Scout. And for a "softride" it rides kinf of hard, althought that could be the lighter weight of the glass body.

Ray Cass has Triangle springs and they seem pretty good.

Welcome home!

I have an old Rancho 4 in lift kit on my scout the springs are pretty stiff but I like em. Rancho dosen't make them anymore but from what I hear that the Alcan springs are pretty nice.
Don't get the trailmaster springs those are the ones that sag IIRC.

If James passes on the offer, let me know. I've been looking for some decent used stock springs.

Rallen,

I have a set of stock springs from a 1980 Scout if you want them. There still on a bare frame.
