I've got a fair amount of IH stuff at my house. I'll post some more detailed pics and descriptions as time allows, but here's a few to start out:

This is a wooden model that I had made:

And here is the Scout that it was built from:

More pics of it:

Battery cable display:

A fellow ODBA club member drew this for me:

Part of my dad's collection of Product Miniatures IH promo models:

I put up this display for the local IH dealer's 75th anniversay a few years ago...note the Scout and IH fridge in the background:

Wow.

After all that, I feel...limp.

I've got more stuff since these photos were taken. I typed "not the Scout and IH fridge in the background" in an above caption...it should be "note", instead of "not"...the Scout and fridge are mine, too.

I'll get more pics sometime. If anyone has anything that they want to see closer, or want more details about, let me know. I'll do what I can. There are several folks on this forum that have collections that make mine look really weak. Hopefully they find this thread, too.

Default McCormick Tin Sign

Here is an old IH sign that was tacked on the side of a barn by an IHC customer that bought one of their Primrose cream separators. I have seen these from the midwest fairly regularly, but I have never seen one in real life in Oregon.

Default Neon Sign

This I found at a farm auction. The auctioneer told me it was going to be auctioned late in the afternoon. I waited around until about 3:00 before the fellow on the mike told me that it had been pre-sold about 7:00 that morning. Yeah, I was mad.

Anyway, this is a factory original piece. I am sure a duplicate could easily be made by someone that had the inclination, and a copy of this photo. I am thinking of having one made for a window at my house.

Default Jackknife

Here is a little pocket knife owned by JD. I took the opportunity of photographing it at his house over the summer.

The handle is mother-of-pearl.

Default Coasters

These are also owned by John.

The first two are part of a set of four. There are two of each, complete in their own box. They are made of soft aluminum, with either very poor clear anodizing or a laquer finish. The little nibs in the center help keep the coaster off the table so water and heat aren't held between them and the tabletop. I would guess they were made in the 1950s. According to the stamping on the bottom (not shown here) they were made by the Stanley company, maker of the Stanley thermos, water jug, and other fine beverage and camping items over the years.

The second two pics are of some stainless steel coasters. I do not recall that these have a box. There are no markings on them other than the IH logo.
