The cases are not exactly the same, the 4x4 case is drilled and taped for the adapter.

Scout II (married) T-19 case is drilled for the t-case adapter and has a 6 spline mainshaft.
Pickup (divorced) T-19 is drilled for the bearing retainer and has a 10 spline mainshaft, and has a couple other holes tapped in bosses on the side for the divorced t-case shifter linkage. That's about it.

Thanks guys. The output shafts are different, but I guess I'm still not clear on whether the case itself is essentially the same. Would a transfer case adapter bolt to a pickup case, even if you had to tap some holes, or are the cases completely different.

Yes, the "divorced" case can be modified to accept the adapter.
