Default T19 question

I'm looking for a T19, non-Scout version. I'm wondering what the differences between the tranny in a pickup, f'rinstnace, and the one in a Scout. The pickup has a tail housing and a yoke bolted to the output shaft. The Scout version bolts to the transfer case and the output shaft has a gear on it that feeds the tcase? Are the cases the same? So if I got a Scout tranny and put the different style output shaft, etc., in it, the tailhousing would bolt up? The reason I ask is I'd ultimately put a Gear Vendors O'Drive on it at some point and they don't make an integral kit for the older T98 tranny.

TIA

Harl

The cases are not exactly the same, the 4x4 case is drilled and taped for the adapter.

Scout II (married) T-19 case is drilled for the t-case adapter and has a 6 spline mainshaft.

Pickup (divorced) T-19 is drilled for the bearing retainer and has a 10 spline mainshaft, and has a couple other holes tapped in bosses on the side for the divorced t-case shifter linkage.

That's about it.

Thanks guys. The output shafts are different, but I guess I'm still not clear on whether the case itself is essentially the same. Would a transfer case adapter bolt to a pickup case, even if you had to tap some holes, or are the cases completely different.

Yes, the "divorced" case can be modified to accept the adapter.
