The shift linkages are worn to the point that it is near undriveable as it gets into two gears ( i believe 2nd and Reverse) leaving me straded and in need of a buddy to help me get it back into gear. Here is my question: Will a 3 speed linkage and column from a 73 Travelall be an exact fit? Thanks for the help. Rich

I swapped my three speed column out for an automatic one out of a Travelall, and it was an easy bolt on. The only problem I can forsee with your swap is the connector for the electrical might be different because of the different year but that should be an easy fix. Just make sure that the one your swapping in is in much better shape so that you don't have to do it all over again next year. Just my .02

By the way, if you were thinking of converting to a floor shift instead, I have the one I pulled off my truck with the brackets already customized. It's all there except the shifter handle. If you (or anyone else) wants it just PM me and its yours for just the cost of shipping.
