Thumbs up Six States Distributors

IHSTO now has a similar cash discount at all Six States Distributors locations. Like the others, it is a Preferred Cash Account #50989, COD. This can be used at all locations in all states.

Now, go out and take advantage of it!

Here is a link to their list of locations:

Looking for a local group to join up with. It seems your group is the best choice but I notice most of you are near the coast of Oregon which would be a full day travel for me.

Not much close but there is a good group of guys up in Spokane/Coeur D'alene area you might want to check out too.

I too was thinking the IH Only group would be good but Google maps shows that it is 1 hour further to Spokane than it is to my home in Milwaukie. I have not thought my location as being near the coast as I have a 1 3/4- 2 hour drive to get there from here but as you have made me realize, it is all a matter of perspective.

So If I were you, I would watch this forum closely for our activities that stay around Portland area or better yet ones that head easterly. I assume that OBDR will happen again next summer and that is all in Eastern Oregon.

Default Napa Discounts

My buddy ownes all the Napa's in Canby, Wilsonville, Mt. Angel and about a half a dozen other places. I will talk to him and see if we can set up the same thing. I use his discout all the time and it makes a HUGE difference. I got a complete overhaul kit for my 345 with all gaskets, rings, and bearings for $159. I hope to attend the meeting next month and will let you know if I have it set up with him.

If you go to the IHSTO main page, you'll find a link in the top header for Membership. There you can down load the form. I believe it has to be mailed or emailed to a club officer. There is no online application you can fill out. And welcome!

Smile New member, new scout

Hey All,
I just moved to the area (PDX) and bought my first scout. I get to pick it up this saturday. I was wondering if some people could give me some info about them as this is my first scout. Its a 1966, it only has the two front seats. I have two small children that I would like to take on rides init with me, so I am trying to figure out what I can use for back seats. Any Ideas?
