Here are some pics of my continuing project. Bill USN-1 and this community deserve most of the credit for this project being as far along as it is... and it is almost dialed in. I would have posted sooner...but I needed to use my wife's camera

The guage is from Northern Tool, PN 53653. The fuel pump is from NAPA, PN P5001.

I need to redo a couple of wires in the harness, which you will see in the pic. They tell me they use a machine now, so this shouldn't happen.

Some more pics. I am using the stock air cleaner right now as you can see in the pics. Because of the TPS sensor (mine is taller then some of the pics I've seen) I had to use a 1/2 inch spacer...that I found someplace. I need to find a cold air source to supply the TB. I like the Caprice unit the Airaid-type unit I have seen pictures of in this forum, but I need to find someplace to run a snorkle. Any suggestions?

You can see one of Bill's chips in the ECU. The ECU looks pretty banged up, but works fine. Interesting to note, I have another ECU I pulled from a local JY that looks brand new. When we finally dial this one in, I am going to try and set it up as a spare.

One thing I would do differently, or will do differently the next time is use a longer harness. Another 1.5 - 2 feet and I would have been able to put in in my Tuffy center console. Something about the computer in the glove box...some kid breaks in and grabs it thinking it is CD changer or something, and I'm stuck.

1980 CJ7, I6 258cid, dana 300 and T176 4 speed. Glad this board is around otherwise I doubt this install would have happened. It was fun and learned quit a bit.
