Default Anyone know of a good SII front turn signal replacement?

Hit a little snag on my Scout project. The light sockets in my front turn signals are corroded enough that I can't get them to light up. From what I understand, new ones can't be bought. Has anyone come up with a replacement that will fit in the stock location and look more or less stock (It doesn't have to be an exact replacement for me, I don't plan on entering any car shows!)? I don't imagine I could be lucky enough that this light might be used in some of the Navistar trucks? I'm sure I could come up with some good used ones from the western suppliers, but I'd rather install something new if I could find something that will work. It buys me a little more time in "the great salt state". Thanks for any help.

Do you mean the whole socket? Ron Francis sells these for $17.95 each. You can retrofit your housing for a clean install...

They are the same as used on late '70s early '80s GM cars and trucks. I've just taken in the old socket and matched it to what is on the shelf at the parts store. Just be sure that the alignment tabs on your old socket are the same as your new socket.

I'm going to assume your refering to pre78 SII , If so the 78-80 housing is plastic and maybe 1/2" smaller L & W, same wires and conecter to harness and the same screw holes. Bonus is that the Ground for the socket isnt on the screw that secures the assembly. I'm just north of Van. BC and it's WET here, no corrosion issues. I only have one spare or I'd offer them for cheap, there must be lots out there.
