Default Summer Gas / warmer weather

Ive noticed recently my Scout has started idling a bit higher. Is this possibly from "summer gas"? Would the newer mixtures be out yet?

I assume Ill just turn down the idle screws, but wanted to verify that there wasnt some other step I should take (play with the timing?) now that its getting warmer out.

Also, aside from thicker oil, what other simple changes do people make as we transition from winter to summer?

TIA

Could be a choke adjustment.Summer gas is already starting to flow in the pipeline according to my gas hauling buddies.Nothing like another summer with crappy gas.. Dan

Thank goodness South Dakota doesn't do the "summer gas" thing, the benefits of living in the middle of nowhere........

I run the same oil winter and summer.
Mostly Amsoil synthetic. Have a couple on Shell 15w40.

I run the Mobile1 15-50 as much as possible, but end up throwing a few qts of 5-30 in in the coldest months to help with startup.

Luckily, the thinner stuff ends up all over my garage floor, so it doesnt stay in there long enough to force an early oil change!
